Well it seems that the Supreme Court has put the foot down and ruled that the military should actually comply with the Geneva Convention standards as policy (instead of just some dumb piece of paper not much unlike the Constitution). In an effort to quickly thwart any possibility of giving the impression that at least one branch of government hasn't lost all hope, Assistant Attorney General of the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel, Steven Bradbury insisted that the guidelines of the Geneva Convention in regards to the treatment of detainee's are unclear and open to interpretation. Well, I have an idea. Let's get Mr. Bradbury to dress in womens underwear and go before the court to explain his interpretation of the guidelines.
